App crashes and does not work do not download

Love this magazine ,keep bringing us more . But please keep it updated ! And don’t ever cancel

Every month when a new issue comes out, I cannot access it. The app states it’s a problem with my internet connection when I have a good connection every time. The app is trash, you’re better off just buying the paper copy.

I got a new iPad. There was a problem with downloading my past issues. They had it fixed in less than an hour.

Most of the time , when I try to launch the app it refuses to up date my subscription through Apple. Save your money and frustration.

Have contacted customer service numerous times, do not have access to all the content I’ve paid for. Was told that I can just read the text - that’s not what I’ve paid for. Not sure how to get this corrected. On an Ipad Pro 12”.

I just purchased a magazine and it will not display, just gives me a blank screen, and if I try moving pages, I see flickers but again nothing displays.

I love this magazine. However I have purchased all the magazines and have a subscription for years and still have problems. I have to contact customer support now and then to re-straight it out.

I have been a subscriber sense issue 1. I cannot even read those. Please fix the app so it works

I updated the app and tried to restore purchases and the app just times out and won’t download any purchases. I have purchased about 8 issues and got the subscription and can’t access the content now. The developer needs to fix this ASAP! All my purchases were through itunes.

I always had to re-download issues on my previous iPad. I just got a new iPad Pro and it says the restoring of issues may take some time but the ‘download’ issue option doesn’t display so I can’t access any issues. Contacted support and didn’t get an answer. Paid until December of 2019 and get get a single issue. Back to the paper copies.

Last app update 7 months before now... The app is ok. Not great but ok. Reasons: same reasons other reviews mention. Wish the app could be a little bit more refined. Also please update for iPad Pro aspect ratio.

I’m not sure how many times I’ve had to restore my purchased magazines and wait for them to become available eventually. It just seems counter productive to have this library of amazing info on your phone if you are hoping for access when you need it. I love the mag and paid for these purchases in order to have the issues downloaded on my phone. Maybe they can stick with something and allow for the purchases to remain intact after updates.

Will not restore previous purchases. Frustrating! Update: I just tried emailing them and I received an undeliverable email message. Very very frustrating!

I originally gave this app (magazine) a 5 star rating. Now I have to downgrade it to 2 stars because when I (and others) hit the “restore purchases” button it says... “This might take a few minutes”, but it NEVER RESTORES! I’ve tried it dozens of times... NOTHING EVER HAPPENS! It’s not only frustrating, it’s a GIANT WASTE OF TIME.

This and the recoil app seem to suffer from the same problems... Constantly forgetting I have a subscription... Everytime you update the apps I have to sit through the "restore" process which never seems to actually work... At least the first 8-9 times... It always wants to bill me!

No support for the iPhone X screen.

The app never works, I can't even view issues I've downloaded to my device. Also I bought a one year sub two months ago for full price, it's already trying to charge me for another year. Major disappointment.

Terrible update. I have been a digital subscriber for two or three years. I was required to update this app and it so. After the update I can no longer download my previously paid for issues. I paid quite a bit of money for those issues, but to no longer access them.

Paid for the subscription last month through iTunes and now can’t get the new issues. Supposed to be good through 2018...

I choose to get the electronic version when I could no longer find the magazine in print. I also want to get all the back issues, but no longer see that option.

Cheap and convenient.

Scrolling around to look at pictures and read the articles results in jerky movement or none at all, and a lot of times will change the page I'm on. Fix this, and it's a five star.

Love that it's the digital version, I hate how when you enlarge the page on the phone it wants to turn the page forward or back. It needs to be less sensitive to that. Would also be cool to add a print option, like after you pay for the subscription if you wanna print a article that you think you need to put in a binder of things to remember would be great

**** APP RATING ONLY**** TEN please allow the app to show a larger cover pic and the magazine contents page. You know, the basics. I'm sure all you magazine app platforms are the same and could use this much needed update.

Simple and easy layout of the app. The magazine itself is very insightful and informative. This is a must have for any survivalist or prepper.

App is not designed for reading, makes reading the articles in magazines difficult. The pictures are great.

App runs smoothly

Great magazine, but preferred the old stand alone app better. Current app opens ok, but won't let me close without a reboot.

It is a great magazine, but it needs to link with the recoil app so that all the subscriptions can show up in one place.

Has life-saving, as well as community saving advice. I wasn't a huge prepper before reading this. Now I see how easy and important it is. Be Prepared, S--- will hit the fan, someday!

Why does it not appear in newsstand? As good as the Recoil magazine app is for a magazine written by the same group it's incredible how bad this app is. It's 2015 guys get with the program. Update: July 2014 and still nothing!!!! Recoil app is great this one is the complete opposite of "great". Gave it a 1 because ZERO is not an option. Update: May 2015 and still nothing!!!

The layout and ease of navigation make it easy to want to read more on the phone

Would like to be able to subscribe to both digital and delivered magazine. But now downgrading the rating. Unable to download previous purchases and there's no one to contact, even tried their Facebook page but no response. It's been 2 weeks and had purchased all magazines but yet no access now.

Absolutely love this magazine along with sister publication Recoil. Both offer the best information on guns, gear, and where to purchase them. Only problem is, can never get enough and miss the publication in off months. Great job!

You don't have to be "Prepper" to find the information In this magazine very useful. I am by no means a Prepper and yet this magazine has giving me valuable info on how better to deal with likely situations that could easily affect anyone of us, long term black outs, broken down on the road, dealing with floods, earthquakes, etc that will force you to be by yourself for up to days at a time.

Love the content! Really happy that you can buy out of print issues!!

I look forward to this magazine each issue. Tons to learn from in each issue. Like a boy scout handbook for the end of the world.
