I downloaded the app to check it out, only to be stopped and required to buy an issue before continuing. Dont know if its worth the $4/issue and not going to find out. They need to give you SOMETHING to help decide if its worth it.

After updating to IOS 8 the app will not download the magazines. Gives an error message "Cannot install the item. Please restart the app and download your purchase again."

Was good until installed iOS8 - now wont download already purchased content. PLEASE FIX

I bought three issues, and have the same issue as user Adam Comeaux describes below: issues will not download without an app crash. Deleting the app and retrying doesn’t help. What’s worse, there’s ZERO point of contact for the developer. Who does that in 2014? Answer: a developer who doesn’t care about their product or long term revenue, let alone care about the customer. Currently attempting to get my money back with the good help of someone from iTunes Customer Support.

It seems that the new update will not let me update my previous purchases. Even after I uninstall and reinstall the app. This isnt the only app that the ios8 update has trashed. Im not a big fan of Apple at the moment. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

Yet another reading app broken by IOS 8. I cant read or download my magazines. Fix your app please!!!!

Love the content but after update to iOS 8, app crashes overtime, even after delete and reinstall. No way to reach Publisher/Developer, link just goes to website “under construction”… Please update your app ASAP!!!

FIX IT!

Really enjoy the mag, but the download feature is crashing on my iPhone 5 with the new iOS.

Updated: I am able to download and read my purchased magazines on multiple devices. My iPad and iPhone. So far I have really enjoyed the app. I recently stumbled across a more recent, hard copy issue of Offgrid and loved the articles, layout, and photography in it. I wanted to get earlier editions but realized that they are hard to come by and I am not paying $90+ on eBay for early hard copy issues. So I took a chance on this app and downloaded the first issue. No bugs or problems yet. I am using an iPad mini without retina display. I have not upgraded my OS software to 8.0+ Others seem to be having some issues with the latest OS. Most all products listed have hyperlinks to their website which I find very helpful for researching. Easy to navigate. Double tap to zoom, double tap to zoom out to flip the page. Pretty simple. I will most likely download additional issues. Very nicely written magazine.

I look forward to this magazine each issue. Tons to learn from in each issue. Like a boy scout handbook for the end of the world.

Love the app and this mag, along with its sister pub, RECOIL. The one neg I will say is that they really need to be ready to roll with updates when iOS updates go out. Both mag apps were down for much longer than they should have. It wasnt like the release of iOS 8 was a secret they just sprung on everyone.

You dont have to be "Prepper" to find the information In this magazine very useful. I am by no means a Prepper and yet this magazine has giving me valuable info on how better to deal with likely situations that could easily affect anyone of us, long term black outs, broken down on the road, dealing with floods, earthquakes, etc that will force you to be by yourself for up to days at a time.

I love the magazine but cant figure out why iTunes charged me twice for the amount of $4.03???????????????

Absolutely love this magazine along with sister publication Recoil. Both offer the best information on guns, gear, and where to purchase them. Only problem is, can never get enough and miss the publication in off months. Great job!

Would like to be able to subscribe to both digital and delivered magazine. But now downgrading the rating. Unable to download previous purchases and theres no one to contact, even tried their Facebook page but no response. Its been 2 weeks and had purchased all magazines but yet no access now.

The layout and ease of navigation make it easy to want to read more on the phone
